Lasagna was good. The staff seemed confused. I had a coupon for 5 pound lunch and asked for takeaway. The server told me to read my coupon! He said it is for dining only. We read it together and nowhere it says for dine in only. Anyway, the manager came and said he same thing. I sat down and ate my meal. I will go back to try the pizza because it looked good. However, everyone seemed confused.

Pizza Express is an institution, and I give them credit for trying to be innovative with different types of pizza and lots of options. And that being said, it's good, but it's not amazing. Pizza can be amazing, and I always get the sense that Pizza Express is trying to please the masses a little too much and not have its own distinct style. But I'll continue to go, after all, you know what you're getting, and the quality is pretty good!
